Reactions from CannMed 2017

95% of attendees said CannMed 2017 met or exceeded their expectations.

CannMed exceeded all expectations. Thank you Medicinal Genomics!

Andrew, Attendee

The energy and positive reactions from all of the attendees demonstrated that cannabis has taken a turn to the “respectable” side of the discussion. A good part of it has to do with the professional way that the conference was held as well as the presentations that were given.

Perry, Sponsor

Physicians in medical school and in residency are taught that cannabis is a drug of abuse, and certainly any drug can be abused. But we are being taught that, and we are still teaching our new physicians this. What we need to remember is that cannabis can be abused, but so can all drugs. So, education is the key, That’s why conferences like this are so important.

Bonni, Presenter

I’ve been in cannabis science for 6 years. I’ve seen more of it concentrated here than anywhere else before.

Savino, Presenter

I’d like to thank Medicinal Genomics and Courtagen for organizing one of the best cannabis meetings that I have ever attended. It was equally impressive last year as well.

Cryptocurrencies and blockchains can radically disrupt many aspects of the cannabis market. Cryptocurrencies are now funding cannabis research projects, Cannabis scientific conferences, and ICO financing. The CannMed Crypto track will touch on ICO financing in the cannabis space. It will discuss the impact of Cryptocurrencies on Cannabis banking.  What are the implications for a seed to sale blockchain? Can cryptocurrencies sequence cannabis genomes? Is this a new publishing platform for cannabis science and peer review? We’ll also be hosting a Cryptocurrency 101 track to educate those new to this disruptive technology.
